Photography Trip To Phuket, Thailand.
Contax Club Penang and Society of Photographer-Malaysia are jointly organizing a trip to Phuket, Thailand on 25-29 October 2006 during the celebration of the Nine Emperor God Vegetarian Festival. The attractions for photography sessions are as follows:
1. Colorful street processions.
2. Temple offerings and cultural performances.
3. Incredible acts of self-mortification, climbing knife-blade ladders, piecing the skin with sharp objects.
4. Entering into a trance state and piecing their cheeks with all manner of object. E.g. tree branches, spears, daggers and some even hack their tongues continuously with saw or axe blades.
The cost is RM500.00 per person to cover the following items: -
1. Transport by bus from Penang to Phuket and back.
2. Accommodation in reasonable hotel on twin sharing basis.
3. Internal bus transport in Thailand.
4. Breakfast is provided at hotel only.
5. Travel insurance.
Lunch and dinner are not arranged because our participants will be scattered and busy capturing the interesting and exciting shots.
Please take note that we have limited places for 50 members only on first-come-first-serve basis. Members who wish to join this trip are kindly requested to complete the Reply Slip and send it together with a copy of bank-in slip for the payment of RM500.00 paid direct into the account of of under-mentioned before 15 July 2006. 九皇爷圣诞节庆摄影采风之旅
槟城康泰时影艺会联合马来西亚摄影家协会，於2006年10月25日至29日组织泰国普吉岛九皇爷圣诞节庆摄影采风团。因岛上居民对九皇爷非常的虔诚，所以每年对九皇爷圣诞都举行盛大的庆祝，膜拜礼仪和游行节目繁多连绵数日，乩童对神灵的附身，其动作将令你心惊胆跳，拍摄不暇。
此摄影采风团团费每位只收RM500，包括提供槟城至普吉岛来回巴士车资，3晚酒店住宿，酒店将会提供早餐，岛上景点观光巴士车费，旅游保险。为了方便大家拍摄，午餐及晚餐自行负责。确实行程将会分发于参加团员。下午会安排旅游观光，欢迎会员携眷同行。
